History

London Parris And The Apostles was a short-lived group founded in 1972 by bass singer London Parris, who had previously worked with the Rebels and the Blackwood Brothers. Tenor Dave Saxton, lead Ronnie Bowlus, and baritone Aubrey Bowlus all left the group at the same time in 1974, leaving Parris to find new members to carry on. His new tenor was the popular Coy Cook.

The group continued to perform for two more years. Their final performance was on July 4 at the very late/early hour of 5:30 AM during the "sundown to sunup" all-night annual singing event in Bonifay, Florida.
