Tim Lovelace

Biography

Tim Lovelace is a versatile Southern Gospel musician, songwriter, and comedian. He got his start with his family group, the Lovelace Family Singers and also sang in the mid-1980s with Billy Todd as pianist for the Masters Quartet. Lovelace joined the Florida Boys in 1987 playing various instruments over the next nine years. After leaving the Florida Boys, he played piano for the Kingsmen Quartet, succeeding Randy Matthews. Lovelace also toured with Jake Hess.

In later years, Lovelace was an in-demand emcee at concert events. He released several duet albums with his wife Mary Alice as well as several solo releases. He is best known for his novelty songs.
