Ron Booth

Biography

Ron Booth has had a long and distinguished career in Southern Gospel music that goes back to the 1950s. He was a founding member of both the original and current Booth Brothers, and is the father of Michael Booth and Ronnie Booth. He served two stints with the Toney Brothers and also sang with the Rebels, the Thrasher Brothers, and JD Sumner And The Stamps Quartet, singing tenor for all four groups. He also sang with a short-lived group called the Americans in the mid-1970s that recorded one album.
