Mack Taunton

Biography

Mack Taunton is a Southern Gospel Tenor singer. He was with the Templeaires in the mid 1960s. He left that group in 1968 to join the Cathedral Quartet. He remained with the Cathedrals until 1972. He was also a member of the Sooner State Boys.

Taunton was also an accomplised Southern Gospel songwriter. Some of his compositions include Sunshine And Roses and Even Winds Whisper His Name. He also owned his own publishing company, Mack Taunton Music.
