Jerry and Jan Goff

Charles Jerry Goff (May 1, 1935 - July 12, 2019)

Biography

Dr. Jerry Goff was a Southern Gospel television producer, preacher, singer, songwriter, and trumpet player. He performed with the LeFevres, producing the popular Gospel Singing Caravan television show for two years as well as the LeFevre Family Show. He traveled with the Thrasher Brothers and also produced their America Sings television show from 1967 to 1971 before founding his own group, Jerry And The Goffs. He was married to Andrea LeFevre of the LeFevres in 1958. After their divorce, he married Ina Mae Beck. After Ina's death in 2000, he married Jan Buckner who sang with Wendy Bagwell And The Sunliters.

Goff served as an emcee and host for many events over the years including the National Quartet Convention. The SGMA Hall Of Fame added Goff’s name to their roll in 2002.

Dr. Goff passed away on July 12, 2019.
