Dorothy "Dottie" Leonard Miller

Dorothy Leonard Miller got her start in the business side of music working at Calvary Records and Windchime Records. In 1981, Miller launched New Day Christian Distributors from her home. The company quickly grew and soon expanded to offer a line of performance tracks branded "Daywind." In 1987, the company began building a roster of recording artists for the Daywind Records label.

Miller has also given back to the industry. In 2019, space at Daywind was offered to the Southern Gospel Music Association to host their new research library.
