Biography

Joe Isaacs was an important figure in Southern Gospel music, both as a performer and a songwriter. He was indeed a founding member of The Isaacs, a group that has gained widespread recognition for its rich harmonies and blend of Southern Gospel, Bluegrass, and Country influences.

After his personal experience of conversion following his uncle's funeral, Joe formed Joe Issacs And The Calvary Mountain Boys, a group that initially focused on traditional bluegrass gospel music.
