Terry Blackwood

Also credited as Terrell Blackwood

Terry Blackwood began singing in the 1960s with the Stamps Quartet. He joined the Imperials in 1967, singing both lead and baritone until 1976. After a few months during which he recorded a duet album with his sister Kay, Blackwood partnered with fellow Imperials alumnus Sherman Andrus to form the contemporary Christian group Andrus, Blackwood, and Company in mid-1977. He also performed in the Memphians with his father Doyle Blackwood.
