Ronald Winston Blackwood (October 23, 1921 - June 30, 1954)

Biography

R.W. Blackwood was the original baritone singer for the Blackwood Brothers, the son of Roy Blackwood and the brother of Cecil Blackwood. The group began in 1934 when he was but 13 years old. Tragically, his life and career was cut short when he and bass singer Bill Lyles were killed in a plane crash in 1954.
