Malachi (1996-2000)
Lead singer David Hill and pianist Shane Jenkins left Gold City in 1996 and formed Malachi. Other original members of the group included Tom Taylor (baritone) and Brandon Whitworth (tenor).
Hill left the group to join The Nelons later in 1997. Hill was succeeded by Danny Culbertson.
One of the final lineups of Malachi included Gary Pierce (tenor), Staclynn Faulknor (lead), Darren Hughes (baritone) later of the Copas Group, and Shane Jenkins (pianist).
