Greg Gordon (November 20, 1950- April 28, 2026)

Biography

Greg Gordon was the son of Howard Gordon and Anna Carter Gordon of the Chuck Wagon Gang. Gordon followed in his parents' footsteps initially, beginning his career with the Chuck Wagon Gang as their tenor singer in 1965 where he remained until 1968. He also played guitar for the group in 1968 and again in 1973.

In 1969, Gordon became a founding member of the Downings, singing both lead and tenor as required. He then sang baritone for the Imperials from 1970-1971.
