Sometimes credited as Ed Easter.
Biography
In 1934, Edd Easter was born in Mount Airy, NC to Jim and Lily Easter. In the early 1950s, he formed The Easter Brothers along with his brothers James and Russell. Edd played mandolin. The group was a staple in Gospel music as well as the overall Bluegrass music scene. As a songwriter, Edd is best known for "They're Holding Up The Ladder" and "Heart That Will Never Break Again."
