Randy Mathews (October 18, 1958 - September 15, 2025)

Biography

Randy Mathews got his start playing piano at the age of 13 when he performed with The Faith Trio. He also played for the Crossville FFA Quartet and The Big Rock Singers. While still in high school in the mid-1970s, he began playing for the Southmen Quartet.

In 1993, Mathews played piano briefly for the Singing Americans before joining the Kingsmen Quartet where he replaced the legendary Anthony Burger. He remained with the Kingsmen until 1996, then joined Gold City for about a year. He also played for New Ground during 1997.
