Ed "Dee" Reynolds (1954-)

Biography

Ed "Dee" Reynolds was born in Almont, Michigan and grew up in Mannington, West Virginia. He began playing organ for the Mannington Church Of The Nazarene at the age of 15. His first experience playing for a gospel quartet came a year later when he joined the Gospel Crusaders Quartet of Clarksburg, West Virginia. At the age of 19, Dee moved to South Carolina where he would record on numerous recording sessions at Mark V Studio in Greenville, SC and other local studios for artists including the Primitive Quartet and the Blue Ridge Quartet.

In 1983, he joined the Blue Ridge Quartet and traveled with them for a little over a year. This was during a period when the group was attempting to transition from the Southern Gospel circuit to Country music. They were billed as the Blue Ridge Country Road Show. Dee has also worked with artists ranging from Stephen Hill to Country star Billy "Crash" Craddock.

In more recent years, Dee has run Flying Cat Studio, a home based business.
