Bill Lyles (December 7, 1920 - June 30, 1954)


Bill Lyles was the bass singer for the John Daniel Quartet during the 1940s. He joined the Blackwood Brothers in 1948 and remained with that group until his death in a 1954 plane crash that also claimed the life of R W Blackwood.
