Biography

"Little" Jimmy Taylor was the only son of A. B. Taylor, a convention-style songwriter. Taylor himself became a Southern Gospel songwriter and musician from an early age. He was pianist for the Rebels from 1952-1969 and again from 1972-1974. He also played piano for the Singing Americans and his own family group, The Little Jimmy Taylor Family, with his 2 daughters. From 1989 until his death in 2013, Taylor was the pianist and arranger for Little Jimmy Taylor And The CampBells.
